Mari Illustrious Makinami | Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance

Mari is shown to have an enigmatic personality. Out of all the pilots, she is the only one who admits that she genuinely enjoys piloting. Her repeated comments suggest that she has a liking to the smell of LCL.

She also appears to have reduced inhibitions and even identifies Shinji as a pilot in their first encounter by crawling up to him on all fours and sniffing for the smell of LCL.

Mari uses two distinct plugsuits over the course of the film. The first is the unusual green and white suit and the pink one with white trim-very similar to Kaworu's.

Why I choose Ayanami Rei?

coz she is the most complicated character in NGE(Neon Genesis Evangelion)-for me-and she is the main formula beloved anime girl.

too beautiful to passed..looks very smooth with digital editing, Vampy always has surprise fact on her cosplay picture experience.

 for this picture, she was do wig cut, styling, and armor by herself. and the fun fact is Vampy and her digital artist also built a real figure for this picture background. I admire her skills, GreAt Welldone.

Ayanami Rei | Neon Genesis Evangelion

Another Ayanami Rei cosplay, silent girl character have special magnetism for cosplay fandom. Rei is a success moe character for this category. very simple if don't use her plugsuit, just short blue haired and uniform, success or no depends on how cosplayer act  Rei's character.

Lolita Rei Ayanami- Asuka Langley | Evangelion

The awesome duetto from Evangelion.This costume have appeared on their action figure. it was so fun to dress them in mix-match costum, always looks kinda shimmering cute! ^w^even though wearing a cow costume...khihihihihi ^^;

 I really like Rei more than Asuka, so calming princess.^^

Asuka Langley | Neon Genesis Evangelion

14 years old pilot of Evangelion Unit 02, the second child after Ayanami Rei.

Asuka Langley, at first glance, might come off as a very pushy, conceited, boastful girl with a major superiority complex...
however, she's much more than that. There's a reason for it all. Many confusing as well as shocking things have happened to Asuka as a child.

Her mother died at a very young age and her father abandoned her. All this convinced her that she had to succeed in everything. At the age of 14, she had already graduated from college.

Asuka often pushes around Shinji, her love and yet archenemy. Jealousy rages in her blood whenever he is praised because his piloting talent is so natural, where as Asuka's is pure effort and hardwork.

Later in EVA, we see her synch ratio drop, along with self esteem and Asuka's life slowly spirals down. Unknown cosplayer in traditional uniform of  Evangelion, nice enough. Pretty unussually expression^^

Rei Ayanami | Neon Genesis Evangelion

"A girl was painted as a bitterly unhappy young girl with little sense of presence."

She is the First Child choosen by NERV for Evangelion pilot Unit 00.

Rei is socially withdrawn, seemingly emotionless, and rarely interacts with anyone, except for Gendo, to whom she initially displays loyalty but with whom she has a generally distant relationship. She lives by herself in furnished apartment in Tokyo-3.

Rei Ayanami's success as a character, as Rei became a more prominent character among fans, she changed the rules governing what people regarded as moe-inspiring. The industry then created many characters which share her traits of pale skin, shortish bluish hair and a quiet personality like Ruri Hoshino of Martian Successor Nadesico.
